This engine is, from what I understand so far, very impressive. Subsurface scattering and ambient occlusion seem to be the tip of the iceberg.
Makes me wonder how open it'll be, and it's scalability. Could have a lot of potential for other projects if they build it right.
Here's to hoping it doesn't suffer any 'consoleitis'
