In graphics its always hard to position products at the dawn of a new product launch. The available 47XX and 48XX cards still represent a solid product for gamers to consider, until they are off the shelf its hard to position your newer product against your older product. Also there is this trick to how you price everything so you don't position your lower end product in a way that it cannibalizes your high end products that typically carry a better margin.
The way I see it, with a single six pin PCIE connector the 5750 is really positioned to be a DX11 upgrade for gamers that want the new technology but have a limited power supply they would rather not fuss with. Got that old Dell box with the 450 watt PSU, this is your card.
