What hardware will I need to display a stereoscopic 3D Blu-Ray at home?

If the PS3 is any indicator, some players might be able to support a firmware upgrade, if their decoder chips are sufficiently powerful. But everyone should need at least a 120Hz HDTV and LCD shutter glasses.

More likely, it'll be a new Blu-ray player bundled with glasses.

This. And expect an impressive addition to price for the goggles, regardless if their manufacturing costs warrant it or not.

But, that's the price to pay. It's coming whether we like it or not.
