Goldeneye 007 never did it for me. I always considered it the most overrated title in the history of gaming. I wonder how it will do on the Wii? I think the old school hard core audience games on something else, and I don't see it attracting anything outside of people for nostalgia reasons.

I'll make a bold prediction. It will be in the budget bin for $14.99 right after Christmas. It will flop. Wrong re tread for the wrong audience.

Did you play the multiplayer? 4 player license to kill pistol matches are intense.

I am buying Goldeneye. As a massive fan of the original, I've never had more fun with a console FPS. It didn't take itself seriously, which made it a blast to play with friends. There has never been an FPS title that is simultaneously more approachable or entertaining for novices and veterans alike. I've been totally sold on the Wii version's changes and improvements on account of the reviews.

I did, and I understand it has some historical significance as the first game to do a split screen FPS on console correctly. I was PC gaming already, so for me playing on an N64 controller just felt wonky. I was never into it.

I think the n64 controller was damn innovative and really made goldeneye, on top of it being a very well designed game, so fun and easy to pick up. The controller did have flaws though... damn joystick wear.

I loved Goldeneye. Fond memories. It and Turok are the only console FPSes I have ever liked (although Turok only because of the bow & arrow). I was also playing PC FPS games by then.

    I still don't get Halo.

I hear Halo 2 is the best ever.

I'm trying to decide if I want this soon, or to wait a while so the price drops. Anyone on IC have it?

Man, forget license to kill w/ pistols... the most riotously fun matches I ever had were either license to kill, slappers only or normal, prox mines only. Epic lulz and fuuuuu-s always ensued.

My fav was playing artillery duel on the temple level. Get up in the big room on opposite sides, and let loose with grenade launchers.

My favorite was definitely proxy mine matches. Love it! I also seriously enjoyed Moonraker Lasers or knives only.
