Did the computer come with Win7 originally?
If so use the restore discs that came with the computer.
If you do not have restore discs, you need to contact hp/compaq and order them. Usually they just charge shipping.
If they no longer have discs for your model, there are third party sites which sell older restore discs as well.

If the computer did not come with Win7 you can't do a factory restore but you can do a fresh install of Win7 by booting from your Win7 disc and wiping everything.

I think he means that his computer has the factory image partition on it, and he is trying to do a full restore from it.
I believe that partition is accessible if you press f8 while the computer is starting up and then there should be an option that says something like "Full restore from factory image"
