Sorry im late replying. Internets playing up. Ive downloaded combofix. My anti-virus said it was likely to contain dangerous files or something. And now when i try opemimg it, there's an error message saying 'windows cannot access the secified device, path, or file. you may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.' Any ideas? lol. Thanks

    Hi!

It normal that antivirus programs says combofix is dangerous.
'windows cannot access the secified device, path, or file. you may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.'
    Is the file .exe?
    - if not, try download Combofix again :)

Have you logged in with account, who has admin's rights?
Try log in with account, who has admins rights...
(If combofix is .exe and both of those things didn't work, try download combofix again)

Ye I can enter any account. But I couldnt open the file in my account. So i restarted in Safe Mode, deleted the Combofix files and ran a few scans. Noticed that the anti-virus was saying that most of the problems were in the Firefox files. So i uninstalled Firefox and then restarted, installed again and now it seems fine. My anti-virus doesnt warn me of any viruses or spyware or dialers so it seems to have worked. Hopefully this has got rid of the problems and they arent working in the background. Thanks for the help!

    Ok.
    Let's try Deckard's system scanner:

Please download Deckard's System Scanner to your Desktop

    * Close all applications and windows.
    * Double-click on Dss.exe to run it, and follow the prompts.
    * The scan may take a minute. When the scan is complete, a text file will open Main.txt and extra.txt

    Please post Main.txt and Extra.txt
