Several folks currently signed up for rooms have also said they would also prefer to put hotel money towards AC units for the ICHQ attic instead, so they don't need to commute at all.
Unless a 15th room gets claimed by the end of the weekend, I'd say that's a good point to say "sorry, we didn't make the group rate" and move forward with individual hotel rooms / attic AC units.
Doesn't solve the shower restriction tho, so you guys better take 'em damn quick.
I'm currently working on a plan to seduce the hotel staff and secure the group rate and possibly own the hotel. I will keep you all updated on this endeavor.
50 people times 20 min per person is 1000 minutes, divided by 60 minutes per hour is over 16 hours per day of bathroom time. Alternate day shower schedule?
More like 35-40 people staying in the house. And I'm thinking more like 10 minutes for dudes (except @Myrmidon, because, let's be serious). Gotta go fast.
15th room Single w/ group rate: 45/night * 4 nights = 180 / ~17 people = ~ $10/person to keep your group rate - potential auction of spare room to someone who otherwise would have stayed at ichq, and it becomes maybe $5/person to keep your group rate.
Otherwise everyone is going to pay another $30 at least without the group rate. Somebody really should just get the room, then auction it off, and try to get 5-10$ off everyone else staying there.

There are 11 singles booked and 3 doubles, still 14. If we can't get the deal for 14 I agree with all pitching in just a little extra just to have 15. Their regular price appears to be $60 for a single room and $75 for the doubles, so we'd all be saving still if we did that.
