Icrontic Kegerator Expo 2017
As most of you saw we're putting together a kegerator in time for Expo. This will continue to reside at ICHQ and be available for any event that the hosts would like to use it.
It will have two American sanke style and two ball lock couplers inside.
If you are a home brewer, mead, or cider maker and would like to contribute something for the weekend please let me know via PM.
As you can imagine there is a pretty large startup cost associated with this, so a good amount of the "Malty Pass" is going towards equipment this time around. We've already had a few generous donations to help with that. If you aren't attending Expo this time around but would like to donate, like to donate a little beyond the ticket, a small keg from your favorite local brewery, or home made boozy booze, let me know via PM.
This will be a great addition to ICHQ and hopefully help cut down on the waste we generate at these large events.
If you're attending Expo, please chime in here with your favorite styles of beers and or ciders you'd like to see.

Will the pedal thingy be stopping at bars, or just riding around?
It may make brief stops for resting, but not at bars. It's a pleasant morning ride around Detroit, possibly with a tour guide if we find one, and you can bring a drink if you want. I was thinking maybe a couple pitchers of mimosas?

Re: EPIC 2017 Beer Tasting - Know When to Fold 'Em
If there is such huge demand that a not insignificant number of folks cannot be seated at the tasting, I will find out from Lincoln if a second seating can be done - looking at the schedule right now, there's 9 hours from the start of the first tasting to Teamfortress 2, and if the tasting actually starts on time (lol) we could have time for another seating before TF2.
It's not like I don't have enough beer or glassware.

Re: EPIC 2017 Beer Tasting - Know When to Fold 'Em
- Everyone buys their tickets for sub-events.
- If more tickets were sold than slots are available, we select by lottery (per sub-event). Not first-come, first-serve as in the past.
- We will announce who got a slot, and who is on the waitlist, prior to Expo.
- After the event, anyone who was waitlisted and didn't end up with a seat gets a refund.
This means:
- We don't end up with a "haves & havenots" scenario where only the first 20-odd attendees get to do extras.
- New folks who buy tickets late have a chance to participate (bring a friend!).
- Folks who have uncertainty in their lives and cannot but their ticket immediately can still participate.
