Re: Calling all bearded men of Icrontic
I have been shaving with the Merkur Progress 510, Feather Hi-Stainless Platinum or Astra Superior Platinum blades, and Creamo shaving lather for about six weeks now. Finishing with Proraso, Burt's Bees or Best For Last aftershaves. (I don't prefer one over the other, yet.)
I haven't cut myself, had acne, had razor burn, or experienced ingrown hairs since I made the switch. Good bye, cartridge razors.
Now I have to master shaving my head with this thing. FML.

Re: Pokemon GO
I haven't played much in Canada yet due to mostly being in rural areas with spotty Internet, but managed to catch my first non-Detroit-area pokemon tonight in Gatineau.
Re: I buy games I already own == Free games
Adding: Space Engineers, early access and who know if there will ever be a RC. I put 60 hours in a couple of weeks, fun if you pick something to work towards.

Re: The Legion is Coming!
I really, really love the new Shadow Priest.
I've been thinking a lot about the new level 100 talent tier, and the totally wild meta that the new one "Surrender to the Madness" brings to the table.
What it does is give you a rapid increase in the generation of your insanity and, here's the kicker, it allows you to move while casting. This means you can much more easily cast all your insanity-generating spells (like void bolt) while things are going crazy around you (like in the last phase of boss fights)... which means you can maintain void form, which means way more damage... BUT... if you lose your insanity bar and stop moving/casting... YOU DIE.
This means that an insanity shadow priest has just become a time bomb. Throughout the fight, we'll be mid-tier DPS, but when it's time to go fucking nuts, pull the cork and let the shadow priest go into full berserker mode. The fact that you die at the end means there is a real urgency to maintaining and not wasting it. It fits in with the lore of the shadow priest so much, and I'm just tickled at the whole meta of being a sleeper, last-minute berserker.
Also, this is my new sacrificial dagger. We're calling a wipe? Oh let me blow my insanity and kill myself
Re: Star Wars Rogue One Discussion
Oh man. New trailer is SO GOOD. I may be more excited for this than I was for Ep VII. I'll have to watch those trailers again to see.
Re: Overwatch
This is true and I wasn't denying that. Just pointing out that D.Va has many ways you can play her, especially with the new shield. Last night I was walking up to the point as D.Va and my team's Junkrat uses his ult next to me. I use my boosters, which I learned at that moment move slower then the Riptire, and tail the tire with the shield up to protect it from most of the enemy fire. Delivered it safely to the enemy Tobjorn.
