Re: Let's get it done
I started up folding again. Currently at 52k points and am going to get 65k points from a single GPU WU..
It's pretty crazy to see my previous ~120 WUs being overshadowed in points by a single new one.

Re: [Resolved] Looking for assistance with crashes, faults, bluescreens on a new build
Does AMD have a routine that will test the CPU, internal mem and interconnects?
I had an issue in CPU where some of the buffer stopped talking to other parts.
Re: [Resolved] Looking for assistance with crashes, faults, bluescreens on a new build
I know that the GPU and was RMA'd and came back good, but for the sake of thoroughness, have you tested with alternate GPU, RAM, PSU, drive cables?
I've run into situations over the years where a component that tests good in one system will cause wild instability in another system. Recently I had a brand-new Dell Precision workstation laptop that would not wake from sleep mode. I spent days troubleshooting it. Turned out the Crucial RAM I installed in it did not agree with it, even though they would pass a memtest while installed in the computer and there were no other identifiable symptoms.
I assume that mobo has onboard graphics, so the first thing I'd do is pull the GPU and see if you have stability problems that persist in its absence. If they go away and the problems return, you can say 100% it's the GPU or the motherboard itself that is somehow not happy together and then test with an alternate GPU to see if the problems persist there.

@Strikes when you saying you're using verifier are you referring to running sfc /scannow though the command prompt? If not, try running it and see if it helps.
@Thrax may be able to offer more insight on next steps

Re: What is Icrontic playing? Spring 2020 edition
I've been playing a LOT of RimWorld during "these unprecedented times". It's a great game for pulling up when not much is going on in the house, but there are a lot of people in the house, so I could be interupted ay anymunite to do something with one of them, or clean somethign or cook something for someone.
When everyone else is asleep, I take a few hours a night to work my way through a single-player story-based game. Right now, I'm in the middle of PoE2:Deadfire. I'm not far in yet, but I'm really happy that I started after they introduced turn-based combat options. The combat is much more interesting than their last couple games, and I hope they make this a day-one feature on future titles).
The Mitey Worriers' weekly co-op game right now is Borderlands 3. Some of the bugs make me sad/frustrated, but it's still a neat co-op experience. We're only about 8 hours in, so we haven't seen a whole lot of it yet.

Re: [Resolved] Looking for assistance with crashes, faults, bluescreens on a new build
I agree, I'm thinking given those stress tests that it's less likely a hardware issue and more likely some kind of odd little software bug. Does not hurt to run a long memtest run overnight just to rule out any memory errors, but if that comes back clean I'd just back up and clean install Windows and all your hardware drivers.
Re: [Resolved] Looking for assistance with crashes, faults, bluescreens on a new build
@Strikes as you were able to run heaven and superposition without issues you can more or less rule out your GPU, motherboard/CPU or PSU being the main culprit. They're pretty good real world stress tests as compared to SuperPI or FurMark.

Re: What is Icrontic playing? Spring 2020 edition
I recently finished two absolutely incredible singleplayer games:
- Half-Life: Alyx - what can I say that hasn't been said already? This game is a masterpiece, and not just as a VR game. As a narrative experience, period. A must-play if you own VR, and a worthy return to a long lost franchise.
- Red Dead Redemption 2 - Might be the most I've cried over a story in a video game. Enormous, gritty, detailed, and endlessly immersive. It's a long one, but the story is so worth it.
Right now, I've been playing:
- VALORANT - Finally putting the S in Riot Games, VALORANT is scratching that old Counter-Strike itch for me. I've been wanting to get back into CS:GO for years, but if you lapse on that game, they make it really difficult to come back to play ranked, and casual is full of hackers. VALORANT feels just like CS (intentionally) and adds in amazing crowd control mechanics with the abilities. Don't be fooled into thinking this is Overwatch with CS sprinkled on - it's a pure CS experience.
- Demon's Tilt - This is a really bizarre one, but I love it. DT is a pinball game with bullet hell mechanics and an occult theme. It's a spiritual successor to a Turbographix pinball game called Devil's Crush. It's themed like a 32 bit Genesis era game and the soundtrack slaps.
- Project Cars 2 - been having a lot of fun playing vroom vroom with the IC crew (had more fun before my wheel bit the dust a few weeks ago :/ ). Pcars is a phenomenal series and the amount of content in Pcars 2 is downright stupid. I love it.
- Streets of Rage 4 - plays exactly like the old Genesis era brawlers, has a deceptively deep combo/scoring system, an amazing hand drawn art style, and a 10 out of 10 soundtrack made by the OG himself. Worth replaying over and over until you master the fighting system and unlock everything. Truly challenging at the higher difficulty levels.
- Minecraft - Some things never change.
- TF2 - Some things never change.

Re: What is Icrontic playing? Spring 2020 edition
Have been really busy with work for the past 4-5 years and didn't have much time for games, but working from home full time gave me back 2 hours/day and my workload is generally lighter right now, so instead of using that time to be even more of an over-productive workaholic, I've been gaming again.
Robocraft - I got into this game about 5 years too late, but it's really fun and I'm hooked. I think I spend more time building than fighting. My brothers, nephews, and son play, so it has been a good quarantine game to stay connected.
WoW Classic - The wife and I started playing when everything locked down in late March and are about to hit level 30. We used to play together 2004-2005, so it's been a nice throwback.
Skyrim - Playing this game still/again. I realized recently that I hadn't actually played any of the content for the Dragonborn expansion despite owning it for several years, so I created a new character for the 20th time and started playing again. Fun fact: I have 300+ hours in Skyrim, but have never bothered to finish the main quest lines. Maybe this time ...
TF2 - Yup.
Re: What is Icrontic playing? Spring 2020 edition
The last year or so was a lot of decreasing games, then moving in with my then girlfriend and having no space for PC or PS4 to be set up, and then moving out after she broke up with me. I played some Switch during that time, but mostly group games like Overcooked 1 & 2, with Jackbox sprinkled in and some single player games I didn't get too much into.
Been playing a lot of Destiny 2 on PS4 to connect with a friend who moved across the country, and recently Overcooked with my new girlfriend and planning to get back into some PC games once I move into my condo next month. Got a bunch of PS4 games I haven't played through (God of War, Spiderman, The Last of Us, and FF7 Remake among them).
