Turned in my 2 weeks notice yesterday. Last day of work is the 16th. Fuck it, I'm in for the draft (if it happens). I'll literally be driving out for a few hours for the draft and maybe some food and nothing else.

Re: Bravely Second demo next week

You know the thing is, the story is super campy in the beginning and then suddenly gets real. Character development is super, super important to me in games and at first I was in the same boat about Bravely Default: Cringey, cutesy fairy, super anime tropes, really basic whiney characters, over-dramatic everything, etc.... And then suddenly everything got WAY better and the characters actually developed, the story became great, and everything got serious. I kind of felt like it was intentional, designed to poke fun at typical JRPG tropes.

Friendly reminder for everyone attending to bring something silly and/or red for the Marche (including myself in that reminder). Every year a bunch of us say "man I wish I would have remembered to bring something".

I'm not making that mistake this year.
