Re: General Windows 10 Discussion
There are express versions of Visual Studio that are free. Might give those a try.

Not only that the Express versions were setup largely with C++ in mind. Visual Studio 2015 community (free) also seems to have a quick install of c++ compiler and all that. There is also MinGW and codeblocks for Windows .

Re: Zippo Lighters: Tricks and Fashion
My Zippo is Matt Black with a Red Pinstripe on it.
I bought 'er for smoking before I learned that in my realm of smook smook, using a Zippo would risk inhaling the lighter fluid (obviously bad) so she mostly got used to light incense.
I've got down the Zippo trick rabbit hole on YouTube, some insane stuff. I got pretty good at one trick 1. Out of pocket quick flip forward 2. Swing back against leg to pop open the cap 3. Swing back forward striking with my jeans. Result was hand in pocket to lit lighter in about a second.
Makes me wonder where she is. I'll post a pic if I come across her.

Viking: Battle of Asgard(14.8 hours): Praise be to Odin, my journey is finished and Ragnarok has passed! This is a port to PC. Only reason I own this is due to me buying Humble Bundles. This is a fighter/hacknslash. The game plays out using three stages and basic mission progression from the on set. You are a warrior that is favored by a god who is attempting to push Hel back into her domain, means you can be die and be summoned back to life. Fighting Hel's legion is your primary task but to do that you must free imprisoned vikings that will not join her army thus weakening her hold on Asgard while increasing the strength of your army. Once you have a large enough army you can engage in multi-segment large battles that make you kill shamans, champions, giants, and control portals. Btw a big part of the game is gaining control of dragons which involves dragon gems, duh. Recruiting some vikings to your army is a pita since they won't follow you until you do something awesome like summon a second dragon because a 7 year old can summon just one dragon. All of your task essentially build of the original one of kill things and free vikings from cages. Later they at errands or assassinations. On normal there isn't much difficulty until you get swarmed by 10+ legion fighters because targeting is horrible and you will randomly switch targets in the middle of a combo.
Until the second half of the final battle everything was smooth but then I raged twice before clearing. Hit detection on angled ground is shit which is a large part of the very end of the game. You can only pick up health from enemies when you are almost dead which is just a troll tactic in the game. The final boss battle involves these flame walls that some times they visually drop but they didn't really so you can run past them and catch fire. The health potions in the game are worthless, might give you just over 5% of max health. The final boss is two stages and the first one is only shit tactics followed by horrible detection and then occasional glitches that make you die and restart the fight. Fighting Hel, the goddess, is chump work. I wish beating the game gave you a great sense of over coming this horrible battle but it is over so quick with fighting her you just want give the credits the finger and uninstall fast. Get rekt, I'm out.

PS. I am adding games to my library way faster than I could ever clear them so this is the neverending gamer story

Zippo Lighters: Tricks and Fashion
I'm sure there are some icrontians who have zippos for style or for tricks. I personally, as a former smoker, really missed the classy move of lighting someone's cigarette. Carrying a disposable lighter for that purpose seemed lame. So, I found myself carrying a zippo.
My first zippo was a plain satin finish steel(may have been nickel) zippo. I noticed people really got a kick out of this old school accessory, so I upgraded to a polished steel with Venetian pattern with the word HERO engraved on it. (My last name means hero in German.) Suddenly it became about what I thought was cool, as opposed to what other people thought was cool.
So with a classy fashion accessory, (one that I felt good about carrying in my fancy suit) I started playing with it. I found youtube videos of some pretty neat but simple tricks(or as I call them, flourishes) and started learning them. Now when I have an opportunity to bust out my beautiful sterling silver Venetian pattern custom engraved zippo, I do so with some style.
So let's talk about your zippo lighters...
PS: my current favorite is a silver version of my second zippo.
Re: these shoes
I've been looking for more comfortable, ergonomic shoes since I tried my first 'barefoot' style shoe, and I wear these almost every day of the week now:

They're super flexible, minimal heel-toe drop, wide toe box... love love love.

Re: Can we rebuild her? Do we have the technology? AKA: StormTrooper needs some love
Yes. If you can list the model of your case, that would guarantee it, but almost certainly it will fit ATX or smaller motherboards.
Windows license? Sometimes it can get finicky about moving from one mobo to another, or if you get a new mobo, it might not have driver support if your license is for 7 or earlier. This can usually be resolved with a call to their automated system for the former, and just a requirement for the latter to ensure it supports whatever license you possess.
So, to clarify: you need at least a replacement drive (size?) and you shouldn't depend on this drive in the future for data or any other purpose if you know it is failing. You know you want more RAM and therefore need a new mobo (and processor). I think you're correct about the PSU and video card continuing on.
Here is a possible list that I threw together without a ton of research. Feel free to play around on that site as it won't let you pick incompatible products by default.

Re: Dickbots IV thru VI, I think? [Game over. Humans lose]
You can extract everything, it's absurd. http://modiki.civfanatics.com/index.php/Lua_and_UI_Reference_(Civ5)
It's a debug tool for the fraxis devs and mod makers.
If I really would have made the time I could have found out exactly what the unit was the ghost CB had but that involved learning how to loop through an iteration using .Units() and I just CBA, was in a hurry.
