Note to all:

We will be using GroupMe again to send out group-wide messages about events and for other EPIC-oriented notifications. (I was trying to find another comparable app to do the job, but found no other, and have been assured that GroupMe has fixed its shit since last year.)

This means that if you want to receive these messages, you need to join the Icrontic GroupMe room. This can be done on any platform, even if you don't have a smartphone (which is the feature that we need which no one else still has). To join the room, just come to me at any time during the event (I'll be there on Wednesday at about three), and tell me so. If you have the GroupMe app, you can just join the room when I invite you, if not, you just need to give me your sms number, and you'll be added to the group that way. If you had the app installed last year, all you need to do is reinstall and log-in, and you'll be back in the group.

I know the group gets used for miscellaneous chatter the rest of the year, but please keep the chatter to a minimum over the next five days, as some people have to actually pay for sms messages still.

I'll announce this stuff all again at the event opening speech thingy because I know not everyone will be checking here. If you have questions you can ask me then. Hopefully, we wont have any of the issues we had with the app last year.
