    I used to tape MST3K and Night Stand w/ Dick Dietrich because they were on past my bedtime. It was always such a joy to get to finally watch the tape.

    I was watching the livestream telethon last night until the end. :) What a great Kickstarter project they ran. Hell, Penn & Teller showed up in the middle of the telethon to add a 1-off reward to the Kickstarter. They broke the Film & TV category record on Kickstarter with $5.76M (previously held by Veronica Mars), plus another $625K worth of swag on their shop.

    I've never felt so engaged by a Kickstarter campaign before. It was superbly executed.

    They announced at Comic Con this past weekend that they have sealed a distribution deal with Netflix, where it will be available in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Ireland.

    They also announced original cast members would get guest starring in the season:

    • Mary Jo Pehl will guest star as Pearl Forrester.
    • Kevin Murphy will guest star as Professor Bobo.
    • Bill Corbett will guest star as Brain Guy.

    Mary Jo and Bill will also join the writing team for a few episodes.
