Dungeons and Dragons: Hunger Games
Hello there! I'm going to try not to get too excited about this idea, because my unadulterated excitement is generally a death knell for Icrontic events that could have been cool…
But what do you guys think about a modified Dungeons and Dragons campaign, where:
- There are 12 party slots, 2 slots for each Panem district
- The DM acts as "Game Maker"
- Each party member writes the background of their character to fit the district they're coming from
- Only one person is left standing at the end, and is declared the "victor"
I don't know when we'd want to do this if there was any interest. Maybe Expo 2016 over the course of 2 days, or… Whenever?
Thoughts?

Oh, oh! And we can have a pre game ceremony where we choose all of the participants' names out of a fucking punchbowl, and someone can wear crazy makeup and say "MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR!"
AHHH, SHIT.
EDIT: OH DAMN! THE PREGAME CEREMONY CAN BE A FUCKING TEA PARTY, GUYS! THE TEA PARTY AT EPIC 2016 WILL BE A FEAST TO HONOR THE CHOSEN CHAMPIONS. HOOOOOO DDDAAAAYMMMM.
Will be in if I make it to Epic. Here's hoping.
I'm so confused. What is a "panem district"?

I meant in the context of D&D
The context within the Hunger games then?
I'm not sure what math @Teramona is using to get 12 slots and 6 teams, since there are 12 districts, but ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Oops. 24 slots! Probably won't be enough interest for that, though.
I mean, you could do 1 slot for each district, but have it be more like the second book/movie where most of them are teamed up already anyways.
