Need assistance from our sartorial experts
I'm trying to track down a legitimate waistcoat for a tux. My wife's cousin is getting married in October, and it's a black tie event. I've managed to track down a reasonable evening coat and pants off eBay (Ralph Lauren 2 button with satin faced peak lapel collar) and I've got my black silk tie. However, I'm at a loss for a real waist covering. I'm able to find cummerbunds reasonably cheaply, but I've never been a huge fan of them and I plan to wear suspenders, so I'd like to track down a full backed waistcoat like the "rare" one pictured on this page. The problem is, I can only seem to locate business suit style high button vests, or backless vests made for rental. Anyone have any leads?

Something like this?
That's the right shape, but the waistcoat for black tie should have a matching satin texture to the jacket's collar, along with satin covered buttons.

Magnoli is made-to-measure, so it costs accordingly.

Take advantage of Brexit and the devalued Pound.![;) ;)](https://icrontic.com/resources/icrontimoji/wink.gif)
Those are exactly what I'm looking for. Do you have some kind of bat signal when style threads come up?
It's like a 6th sense
Also, I check Icrontic several times a day. So that helps. If you order a waistcoat, lemme know how it goes. And post pix.
FWIW we bought a suit for Eli from Magnoli and we are decently pleased. Certainly not the best but far from the worst.
