Any interest in a beer tasting, maybe...quads?
Or Friday evening!

On second thought, there really is no -good- time for Jackie and I outside of Thursday or Sunday, so do what you gotta do. If it's Friday afternoon we might do it, but with smaller pours or with one of us sitting out since we have to drive to Indiana that evening.
Beware of entrance closures for 94 on your way to the airport. Our on the fly adjustment was to use 96 to 39 to 94. Consult your local local for potentially better instructions
Brian just confronted me in the hallway. "You keep telling everyone I can't count because you said it's the 10th Oktoberfest and I said it's the 9th. It can't be the 10th, the first one was in 2007."
I blink and stare at him.
"What? That's nine years ago."
I count from 7 to 16 and show him how many fingers are up.
He looks confused and does the same. His head snaps up and he stares at me like a deer caught in the headlights.
Very sheepishly he adds, "Well, I just counted the folders of photos on the drive so we must be missing one..." and walks back to his computer, knowing this post was coming.

Currently sitting at a truck stop near Marion, IN getting food, gas, and a phone charge. So far, so good.
On my way back, I made a slight detour to a place I said I was gonna stop by but never did....
Is that the Gas City Speedway outside of Marion? I went to college out there and went to a couple races at the track. Was awesome. Great ice cream place not far from there, too.
Made it home safe and sound! 10 out of 10 ICOK. Love this event so much, and you all rule.
I ended up spending a full week at ICHQ after bumping my flight back a day to avoid spending ANOTHER night in MDW. Worth.
Not only that, but my flights home were uneventful and perfect. DTW->LAS was great because a flight attendant saw me wearing my Cubs shirt, and let me have an aisle seat for being a fan. Beyond that, she poured me free drinks all flight long because I was the only Cubs fan on that flight.
2.5 hour layover in Vegas, and I got to watch innings 2-8 of the World Series game 6, and it was fantastic. Then my LAS->SFO flight was full of Cubs fans (and one sad Cleveland fan) and everyone was buying each other drinks and cheering and loving baseball.
By jove, dirt kid was with us tonight. Miss you all!

If you are attending ICOK and plan on ingesting chili and cornbread and have NOT YET filled out the survey.
Please do! https://goo.gl/forms/1LQtWNqkHFNpSjnD3
Cost will be determined by number of participants
Attic temperatures are looking abnormally comfortable this year. Thanks, global warming!
No, it's fine. He's a porn star. He just tells everyone he works for Shinola.

(captain sonar)
Capt. Sonar is officially dope ass game of the event.
Oh man. My German buddies have not been able to stop talking about Capt. Sonar since we saw it at Essen.
CB just had to casually drop in the fact that he attended Essen.
Hope everyone is having a great time! Too much fun!

See y'all next time!
Recommend going forest over to m10 (Lodge freeway) and then to 94 West.
Entrance for 94 is almost immediately after you get on the lodge at forest.

When's the next batch going up? Hoping to see a few of the other great costumes.
Home Sweet Indy!
That's all I took. The rest are on Facebook
Did the ones of me get deleted?
Must have forgotten that one. I'll post it when I get home, or you can
I'd post it but I don't have access to your camera and it's not on FB either.
Hmmm. Must have skipped the ones I didn't like
Dirt Kid got home safe and sound. Forgot to post here.
For some reason that one single photo didn't export. It's Lightroom that hates you, not me.

It couldn't handle something so really, really, ridiculously good looking.
