It's a fan effort to bring back the old servers now that they're completely unsupported by EA.

I personally have a lot of fantastic memories of both, so a few of my local friends and I are planning to start playing again.

Consider joining us, it'd be a lot of fun.

    Oh man. I miss BF2 so much. Had such good times.

    Might have to see if I can get it to install again.

    Edit: Installed and checking it out today. Do they have anything going on in the realm of cheat/hack protection?
