Gents,
Computer is running slowly on the web for some reason. Using Chrome normally but tried on Explorer as well with the same deal. Pages take a while to load and streaming movies is impossible. Resetting the router worked for a bit now its back to the slowsies. Phone connects to it and it working fine with none of these issues. Any thoughts?

Option 5 is now a real product that exists: http://www.homedepot.com/p/NetReset-New-Automated-Power-Cycler-for-Modems-and-Routers-NR-1000US-NEW/300231163
Router make and model? Age?
It is a Netgear R6300. Maybe two years old...
What is your router security like? Do you have an open guest network broadcasting? Any possibility neighbors have the credentials? To be sure I would reset the security, set up a new strong WPA2 password and if it broadcasts a guest SSID (which is not a bad idea if you do have company use it once in awhile) make sure you secure the guest with a WPA2 password that is different from your main home network as well.
Your phone having no speed issues but computer having issues is a big clue. Is the computer running Windows 10? Is it connected via LAN cable or wireless? What wireless chipset does it have? Do you have Windows 10 on that system?
