Looking for landscape rendering for total noob

We have removed trees that were not safe. Do not like the current walkways and general landscaping. So we are trying to find software to render our plans for a reality check and submission to HOA. Neither one of us has any experience with these programs. And we need something easy for the total noob.

Free or a usable trial would be good too.
Sketchup has a good library of foliage and landscaping stuff. Probably the easiest way to do it.
I have no experience with anything but sketchup, didn't use it for landscape though.

Trying Sketchup first as it looks the easiest.
Thank you @MAGIC and @Ryder. Once I got past the initial fish out of water part Sketchup is going well. As a matter of fact, Once I started getting the hang of the basics I am already seeing how people can really get into this and even get hooked.
Seven months later, @Mt_Goat emerges from the computer room with crazed eyes, a gaunt face, and a SketchUp rendering of Alaska... all of it.
If you have a Skillshare account, this class about garden design using Sketchup might be useful.
Thank you, As a matter of fact I do have an account through work that I use.
