Recommend me a gaming laptop

My first spawn has achieved the milestone of teenager without us having to murder him in his sleep (so far). To celebrate, we are considering a gaming laptop.
He's a big Razer fan, sonif there's something that works well in that space, it would be appreciated, but not necessary.

Budget points we're considering are sub $1k, and up to $1,500.

Obviously, I prefer to buy @Thrax's shit, but if Intel and or Nvidia powered units hit the mark better, then oh well.

    When I was traveling every two weeks I bought this, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06Y4GZS9C/ . Has worked really well for me and was the machine I took to LAN last year. Slapped a spare 500GB SSD into for loading games and haven't had any real issues outside of windows.
