Athlon 64 cooling!

Ok guys i broke down and switched from the almighty stock cooler! I bought the thermaltake Silent Boost K8 since its 80mm And its quite ( its in my room so i wanna sleep! ) Its alot quiter and -2*F under full load. I am also going to tom when i get home from work scrap the silent boost crap fan and replace it with a TT smart Fan 2 and get the best perfromance / noise I can on this bad boy! OC Land here I come!

    Mechatronics fans are pretty good and quite. I slept with one in my room for months. After awhile you dont even notice it at all.

    Well I have atleast 5 or 6 mechatronics 56cfm fans around and around 3 Smart fan II's that i just got in So we will have a contest! dstock was 127*F thermaltake Silent Boost K8 was 125*F and we will see with the mechatronics and thermaltake II tomarrow the Quest for the Holy fan Continues!

    What speed is the A64 currently running at, Gnome?
    What's the O/C you're likely to get (I haven't kept up w/ A64 O/C'ing)?

    Well the TT will most likely cool better but its a lot more CFM as well.

    the stock A 64 cooler is 70mm and the TT is 80mm!

    Even more than the Mechatronics fan I meant. But yeah no competition there either.

    Why didn't you pick up an SLK948? Those things are badass for 64's (754 or 940).
