NF7 Raid 1 Questions

I planning on setting up Raid 1 with my NF7-S. I was planning on using an 80gb maxtor and an 80gb wd se, most people recommend using the same drive, just wondering if different drives will cause me problems? If anyone has any suggesionts/tips/guides for setting this up, I'd appreciate it as I don't know too much about it. Thanks

It goes on a case by case basis, but 99% of the time, two non-identical drives will not work well together in a RAID array.
