Bagle-B on the rampage

edited February 2004 in Science & Tech
After only just managing to polish off the first one, another 'Bagle' appears. The new worm Bagle-B, the second follow up to the illustrious Bagle virus, is hitting the west hard as it spreads via email. Tanx-A, as it is also known, arrives with the subject line 'ID' followed by various random characters and the message text, 'Yours ID'. We can thank the good virus writers of Poland for this one.

[blockquote]MessageLabs said Bagle.B had been spotted in 66 countries worldwide by this morning. The US and the UK have been hit hardest by the malevolent worm, the company warned. Germany comes a shaky third.
