Need help with SSE

well, i got the newest version (graphical client) of F@H and i cant seem to get it to take advantage of SSE, i bet i would fold alot faster with it on. anyone know how to get it working with it on? i tried doing it in like it says in the questions and answers topic, but that method just wouldnt work... Madmat tried helping me but no luck...

i got win 2000 Pro if that helps and im running it on a AthlonXP 2200+ i just need the sse and stuff to work...

    You tried putting the flags in the target line?

    maybe we were doing it wrong, can you explain on how to do it?

    If it's an AMD machine, be sure to use the switch -forcesse instead of the -forceasm switch with any of the 4.0 client versions. The -forceasm switch with the 4.0 client will only switch on 3DNow! with AMD procs.

    yep should look something like this. Remember to put spaces between the target and each flag

    Mudd: weird. I'm running both -forceSSE and -forceasm and my console still says Extra SSE Boost Ok.

    Should I take forceasm out of there?

    i have 3dnow also, doing that also turns it on or is there something else i should put in?

    sorry im a total f@h noob...

    oh and what is service? i see that in Al's shortcut, what is it?

    If you log off, it will still keep F@H running.

    Remove -forceasm Al. I edited your pic to no confude people. -forcesse should override -forceasm. Maybe it had a problem and went back to 3dnow!

    Al has it running as a service so he doesnt have to see it all the time. Its not needed.
