My experience with this is that its one of two things... either a driver issue or a peice of hardware... Most likely place to start is memory, but can't rule out the CPU or the PSU either...

You might be able to get a handle on it by going to the MS website and putting in that stop error. However I think that in the end it will be a driver or peice of hardware... If you haven't loaded a new driver reciently or added a new peice of hardware like memory, CPU, or video card, it could be the PSU.

To rule out memory get a copy of memtest86 and test your ram, if all is good them check your PSU. Look at your voltages in the BIOS that might give a clue if you see voltages below norm's... Also just to be safe check the CPU temp to make sure that your not overheating...

    Hope that helps,

I personally think it's a driver or ram but I'm leaning more towards ram cause BT uses alot of ram when it's starting to allocate space or something and maybe a part of the ram or the 2nd stick (if applies) is damaged. Use memtest86.

he's right though, memory is the likeliest culprit, and easy to check.

well, you guys had it right.. Found the solution!

    really weird do.:

I had to switch the memory stick into another socket and since i got two modem card in my compu(don't ask me why... cos i don't know) that where using the same bump memory file, I had to switch one of them too...

    It's all allright now..

    THX guys for the lead.!
