ATI R420 A12 silicon ready

[link=http://www.theinquirer.net]The Inquirer[/link] reports that ATI has silicon for its flagship R420 chip. A12 is the stepping of silicon that means that the chip is ready for production and that cards could be available much closer than planned, just depending on the marketing department saying yes.

This information might get Nvidia concerned since its samples are just out but Nvidia won't start production before April as we reported before.

    There's bound to be a cool new letter coming out. Maybe the Radeon T... I don't think "T" has been used as a cool letter yet....

    Tejas from intel will use socket T.
    It will be out later this year, maybe.

    It will be difficult marketing something the customers can't say.

    To Prime:
    In Danish the symbol ~ is called fishbone.

    I really don't know if that would sell?
