I have a question, I am new to Linux and I was wondering if you can use Outlook Express with Linux mandrake 9.2, if not what do you use for E-mail. Thank you for your help.
Question 2? Also I want to put Linux on a second hard drive, how will I boot up to the 2 different operating systems.

Try out Mozilla Thunderbird.
How do I get a bootloader, does it come with Xp or Linux, or can I download a good one for free off the net, Thank you for your help.
bootloaders
the two main choices are grub and lilo, that page gives a brief overview of both and easy setup instructions for multiboot situations .. I dont know about mandrake but you probably have both of them already lying around
With Mandrake, you tell it to use the second drive. It can install Lilo or Grub by itself. IE, it will load a bootloader if both drives are in box at once at install time and you are careful NOT to wipe wrong drive. I have been running 9.2 here, and am about to try version 10 rc1 (maybe this week, maybe next, but keep promising myself "SOON!"). If you are going to dual-boot with XP or 2000, please let us know first, we can save you some grief, if booting with 98 and Linux, that will go reasonably smooth and easy.
Mandrake 9.2 will install Mozilla by default (has email, an FTP mini-client,and browser all in one), you can install Thunderbird or try Evolution instead, depending on what you want to pull mail from (Hotmail, you will get to browse to in Linux, ditto Netscape.net email unless you install a Linux Netscape version, which still will not get you your hotmail remotely.).
