Internet Connection Problems

I just got another NF7-S and an 1800+, i am networking it to my main rig through firewire. I can share files but cant get the internet to work. What am i doing wrong?

    Could this be a thing with windows xp, because this has happened to me before when using 2 computers with windows xp.
