I have the MSI SLI Platinum, which has the Nvidia nforce4 chipset (as the MSI Neo4 Platinum does). However your MSI Neo2 Platinum has the nforce3 chipset. You can find nforce3 64bit beta drivers here:

I have an APC Biopod fingerprint reader that comes with drivers and software for XP 32-bit only. As far as I know the software manufacturer doesn't make 64-bit drivers. Does anybody know if there's a way to get this thing to work properly in Windows x64?

I've got the same problem. Talked to them yesterday and as far as the CSR I talked to knew, they don't have any plans to do anything for any type of 64bit OS. CRAP! So...a workaround for this would be super!

Does anyone have 64 bit drivers for old intel boards (945 P running dual 2.6G) ? The one provided by Dell worked well until I moved from the trial version to the final version of XP 64 Pro. Screaming fast machine otherwise, but the ethernet interface onboard does not like the drivers available so far. I'm about to just buy a 64 bit NIC instead of fooling around with this issue.

Are you looking for the chipset INF drivers or drivers for your motherboard's peripherals? If the latter, we're going to need to know what devices you need drivers for.

I suspect that it is only for the NIC--everything else works great--but there may be only one driver for the board and the integrated peripherals. The only significant error I get when I pull up the windows device manager is on something called the "ethernet interface" whatever that means. As I understand it, the NIC is integrated on the board, and it is an Intel Pro V_ (?M) 10/100. The Dell manual only says that it is "NIC Integrated network interface capable of 10/100 communication.

Typically each of your motherboard built-in peripherals requires its own driver unless you're using a VIA or nVidia platform. VIA and nVidia have unified platform drivers which make installation simpler though sometimes motherboard manufacturers deviate from the standard platform and offer Somebody Else's NIC/audio/storage in which case the individual drivers for those need to be found.

Intel doesn't use a unified driver so you'll need drivers for everything. The INF drivers cover the 945 chipset features like it's memory controller, PCI buses, etc. You'll need to know exactly what hardware is in your machine. As a Linux user, I would just pop in a Knoppix CD and run 'lspci' at the command prompt to get a list of all the devices in the system. Dell's manuals don't seem to be helping you a whole lot so you might try to remember what was in your old Device Manager screen.

I looked up the 945 family drivers chart over at the Intel site. Here's what I found:
    Chipset INF driver
    SATA driver
    Integrated Graphics driver

The 945 doesn't ship with a built-in NIC so it could be pretty much anything in the Intel lineup. Dell seems to have cheaped out on you with a 10/100 NIC though, most machines of that era shipped with gigabit NICs. At any rate, you've got an Intel PRO series NIC, probably a PRO100VE but it doesn't matter because their NIC driver is unified for the entire PRO series.

    PRO NIC driver

I have no idea what sound you have but you should probably go look for its driver at the manufacturer website.
