keyboard lag?
i have an OEM Logitech Black Internet Keyboard, non-USB.
when gaming, it can't handle many rapid keystrokes, i.e. in HL i press shift to run then ctrl to crouch and spacebar to jump all while holding W and A to strafe... it can't handle it.
mobo is an IS7 if that makes any difference, OS is win XP Pro
i was going to just update the driver because its tagged as 10/.../2000, so i figured there might be a new one, but logitech apparently doesn't officially support the keyboard.
it's a nice board, any help would be appreciated'

I saw somewhere once before a chart of keyboard "channels" - there's only a few (i forget, like 3 or 5) and the keyboard is divided into chunks of keys that use a specific channel. You can't press more than two keys from a particular channel, so if a three- or four-key combination doesn't work, you need a new keyboard.
do you think the logitech elite keyboard would have a different channel setup?
i need a black keyboard, and the logitechs dont have the stupid oversized enter key
also would using a USB adaptor have any effect? i might have one lying around...
I can press 6 on the Keyboard (PS/2) which is nice. But I heard that USB doesnt have any limitation......
NS
schwaip are you using the PS2 or USB connector?
(the elite is natively usb right)
