I rebuilt my system last night on my new big fat 120GB 8MB beast. Yay! Now, it's time to put back all the tools I need to function. Running W2K, SP4, IE6, DX9, Media Player 9, and hit Windows Update to get all the needed patches, upgrades, etc. Yes, I am a Windows wh0re.

So that much is done. I've already installed:

Grisoft AV
Office XP (Outlook)
SpamWeasel
DivX codec

And know that I need/want to install (in no particular order):
Winzip
Winrar
FireDaemon and F@H (DUH!)
Nero (and updates)
DaemonTools
WinAmp
Intellimouse drivers
Other codec's?
Quicktime
Fireburner
Games. All my games!!!
Misc. controller software (joystick, gamepad)

What else ought to go along here?

    JAVA!!

Color me clueless, but doesn't IE pretty well take care of all my Java needs for me? If I'm just doing Yahoo type games and the occassional Java based chat, why do I need anything else?

That reminds me...also need Shockwave and Flash installed!!! :)
