dual OS but all windows

Can any1 help here?

on boot-up screen i have 2 options of boot-up os.... both of them are for winxp HE. is there anyway 2 remove 1 of them. I believe i tried clearing cmos but they still there

    lol clearing cmos wont help you do that. it's normal to have two entries, one is probably safe mode. it's also possible that you have re-installed windows and that's why it's showing you two entries. if you want to remove one of them, right click my computer, then go to properties. click the Advanced tab then click the settings butto on the startup and recovery section. Now you can click edit and you'll be able to edit your boot.ini file and remove the offending line. i don't recommend this though. you're much better off just setting the timeout to like 2 or 3 seconds. if you erase the wrong thing, it's re-install time.

    Well I really don't know if all boot.ini's are the same so I guess you should post a screenshot. If they are the same, I would guess the 6th line is the extra option and I guess you can delete it.

    1 of the 2 boot options does NOTHING! where do i change the time for bootup?

    Go to System Properties==>>Advanced==>>Startup and Recovery==>>Settings
