ABIT rma... again.

Really starting to hate ABIT!! I had an IC7G MaxII that one day decided to smoke. I have a pretty strict non smoking policy for my motherboards so I rma'd it back to ABIT. Their policy is to recieve the board and then send a used repaired board back to you. Well after 30 days I recieved the replacement, in a box which contained the original mobo box and mobo in bubble wrap, no other packing, to put it mildly it was all quite loose. Well upon inspection of said mobo some of the caps were bent, one was almost lying flat. Also around the NB HSF was dust build up. Much to my shock, the board would not post and again took up smoking. I almost don't feel like rma'ing it just to get the satisfaction of smashing it to teeny tiny bits. Any body want to buy a used ABIT when it comes back from rma?

I'll let you know what happens. I really like the board when it was working, stupid fast, I've already replaced it with the DFI, couldn't wait for the first rma, I was going to use it in my second machine, but now that it's toast I'm replacing it in my second machine too. I think I just had really bad luck.

What would that price range be, Thrash?

I'm sure that if you still feel like selling it when the IC7-G comes back from rma that you won't find much problems selling it in the Deal Depot, Trash80. I love my IC7-G and have had no problems whatsoever with it.

Nice to have some options guys. I'm waiting to hear back from ABIT as to how they want to proceed.
