Counter Strike Steam CD-Key
I have a copy of half life and have recently installed Steam to play Counter Strike Online. I have never registered the cd-key with steam but when it asks me for it they tell me it is already registered with them!
They do not reply to any emails i send to them so does anybody know why this is. Im guessing somebody without a legitimate copy of half life has used a cd-key which happens to be mine!!
Any ideas what i can do?

But i'll just sum it up. Sierra fooked the cd key printing process and reprinted a bunch of old cd keys.
If you bought half life 90 days ago you can do a straight out swap with vivendi.
If you still have the jewel case and it's after 90 days visit the support section of www.steampowered.com
But that method takes awhile 2-6 weeks iirc so you'll probably be better buying a cheap version of half life from game, can get them for about £5
and they never get caught.... :mad2:
I have a HL key from years ago, but I know I've bought other games from the steam account. Sometimes it's not worth the aggravation to hunt them down.
I had a list of other keys that are unlikely to be in use at one time. If I ever find it, I'll help a brother out.
buy counter strike blue shift. it will cost you around $5-$8. You can use the cdkey from blueshift for steam. That's only if you want to play Counter Strike. If you want to play condition zero the only way is to buy condition zero. =( Hope that helped.
