Best Remote PC Software?

edited March 2004 in Science & Tech
Hola. I need to be able to "take over" my mom's PC at home via my computer at school. I never had much luck with the remote control pc feature built into MSN. What is, in your opinion, the best remote pc software? Ease of use is key. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks-DaK

Thanks I'll check the thread out.

As to the Circuit City Question there was one store in particular that was incredibly rude when it came to price matching something completely legitimately. I couldn't believe the caliber of service they offered me and accussed me of several things. Needless to say they got what was coming to them. That particular store is now out of business :).

You can also try UltraVNC and RealVNC. Basically they are all the same and open source.

UltraVNC has a special driver that makes screen updates much faster than the other VNC clients.

Put in my vote for pcanywhere. It's quite easy to use and I've never experienced problems with it.
