RAID Card or SATA Adapter?

edited March 2004 in Hardware
Which to get? I've read of some people getting corrupted arrays doing PATA RAID thru SATA adapters. Price seems close, $51 for cheapest Highpoint and $60 for 2 Abit SATA adapters at Newegg

If you have native SATA drives.. adapter card. Don't bother with SATA adapters :)

If price isn't going to bother you, I would say it's better to go native SATA.

Actually what I meant was I need to stay with my current PATA RAID drives on a new SATA only board.
