NEC/MITSU FE991SB-BK 1600x1200 Blur?

Does anyone here have this monitor? Do you experience blurred text on the sides of the screen in windows? My roommate just bought this monitor and only in 1600 is he getting this blurryness. Instaleld the newest drivers off the NEC site and it gives him a max refresh rate of 70 @ 1600x1200. Anyone know how to fix this?
