What do NF-7 guys do with the power cable?

Now that I have two NF7-S motherboards and did my second install, I'm concerned about my cooling... due to the (IMO) very stupid placement of the power connectors on the mobo, the power cord wraps right over the HSF on the proc. It seems to block quite a bit of the surface of even an 80MM fan - is there any other orientation to put the power cables such that they don't block any fans?

Part of the problem might be the case, as to where the PS is. With my case (Lite-On), the power cable goes past my HS nicely. Maybe turn your PS upside down, to get a different angle?

Here's the link to a picture of my set up. (Sorry, I don't know how to make a link to another thread, within the site)

Yes, I've got slightly less clearance in my cases - they're both the Cheiftec/Antec spec... seems like no matter how I run the power cable, it will be blocking some fan directly.

With my Cheiftec I run I run it towards the back of the case under the metal bar that goes from front to back. Its tied to that and then goes down the window until its over the PSU plug. It then goes towards the motherboard. Doesnt block too much air that way.

get a power cable extender and route it neatly past the hsf. I use them every day the work quite well, however they add about a foot to your power lead for the main board.

While I had mine in my Antec case I ran it along the bar below the PSU to the rear then routed it between the rear fans and the I/O pannel and attached it to the side of the fans with zip ties.
