RAID Stripe Size?
Need a tutorial on how to select stripe size. Currently have one huge RAID 0 array at 160 meg with only around 40 meg used. WIll be moving to a new MB, controller etc. after ghosting the current array. Instead of just making one huge array I was thinking of partitioning to make backing up my OS easier. MAybe a 60 and 100, or two 80's. What should I pick as a stripe size?
I forget as it's been awhile since I set my machine up, how do these get formatted, by the RAID card or Windows? My C won't be a problem as ghost will take care of that I assume.
