What is the best software for OC'ing my 9700 pro? It's at stock levels now, and I want to go ahead and push it up a few. I hear about 300's of Mhz and whatnot, and I have no idea what you're talking about... :range:

I've been taught to be a good little boy and be happy with my little stock system and not to play with my chips, so for now I'm gonna just OC the easy way. I don't feel like soldering metals and connecting thingies and the like, only to find out I had the instructions upside down.

I OC mine with Riva Tuner 2.0 (free to download) right now but have also used Powerstrip (probably the best, but not free) and Rage 3D as well. Just go to www.guru3d.com he's got everything regarding video cards.

ATI Tool worked well for me. It was simplistic and effective.

Same. Make sure you have adequate cooling. Imo, Itachi > Sasuke < all

    Alright... thanks all!

The cooling would be on the Vid card, right? I haven't gotten any special cooling for anything right now, I just have the stock AMD chip cooling and stock cooling for the 9700 pro. Would it make a huge difference if I got better cooling for either of those?
