    Anyone know anything about this board? I looked it up on newegg and was showing it to a friend to build a monster system for him. Think it'll be better than the asus athlon 64 compatible offering?

    The KV8Max3 is based on the K8T800 not the K8T800 Pro. The Pro version isn't available yet.

    ETA May 2004

    Tell your friend to wait until the NF3 250 & K8T800 Pro based mobos are released and reviewed
