Intel set to introduce processors with integrated memory controllers

It has been reported that a very senior official from one of Intel’s major chipset customers, has confirmed that everything is roadmapped for the chip giant to, somewhat predictably, follow AMD’s lead and introduce desktop, workstation and server processors that not only feature support for the iAMD instruction set but with AMD64 style integrated memory controllers.
