Supposedly there is a new bios for both versions of NF7-S yet the links from the abit-usa forums here is dead. Anyone have any input?

New NF7 bioses
ftp://ftp.abit.com.tw/pub/download/...enu/nf7d_23.bin

Bios is for version 2.0

ftp://ftp.abit.com.tw/pub/download/flashmenu/nf7_24.bin

Bios is for version 1.0/1.1

Tested for v.2.0 and it works fine (has SATA Bios 4.2.47)

edit:/ I've asked for the bios' thru email to make available here at SM ...I'll post them as soon as I get them.

Well the build date doesn't show up incorrectly like it did with the last one. And that's good enough for me. My NF7-S has now returned from 2020 back to present day. (http://www.short-media.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8009&highlight=bios+22)

Doesn't it make your computer seem a little less "cutting-edge"?

    Changelog up.
-Please use the AWDFLASH 8.23D or later to update the NF7 series BIOS. With an incorrect AWDFLASH version, the GUID will be erased, which leads to IEEE1394 peer to peer function failure. AWDFLASH 8.23K is included in this BIOS package.
-Updated SATA BIOS to v4.2.47 (FOR NF7-SV2.0 ONLY).
-Enhanced USB 2.0 device compatibility, "Integrated Peripherals / OnChip PCI Device / USB 2.0 Device Compatible / Disabled -> Enabled".
-Added Auto-Shutdown function when CCMOS jumper on pins 2-3. The correct CCMOS jumper should be on pins 1-2; in case it is placed on 2-3, the CPU core voltage will be abnormally high, and the system will shut down automatically to protect the CPU from damage.
-Fixed an issue where SATA HDD boot up would fail without a PS/2 mouse installed.
-Hid "SATA ROM BIOS" function on NF7V2.0.
-Changed the default year to 2004.
    -BIOS compile date: 03/24/2004.

I don't see why they named the NF7 v2.0 BIOS "23". My board shipped with 23, we all know 23 has been out. It makes it confusing that there's a NEW 23, that's different than my old 23.

/me is still using the 2020 "BIOS 23" version with D10 SIP table.. :D You like that ABIT and your silly BIOS naming?! ;D
