is possible from w2k recovery console to copy dir/files of data to
a flopy/cd-rom?
if for examble, one of these files is a browser am i able to find the bookmarks
that i have on it if i will reinstal to another system?
is possible from recovery console to install programs?

Bookmarks, though, you can recover. What browser program and what version of same??? Email similarly, if you want that pile of email you squirreled away like I do in 38 local folders, what email client and what version????
Easiest thing, mount another HD in box, copy to that what you want to scavange, from recovery console. Take PM 8.0 or 7.0 or Ranish's Part program or FDISK and then FORMAT, make FAT32 parts, then copy, then recover from your temp spare HD....
Walk around that thick granite type stone wall, easier than tunneling through it-- or blasting what you want away trying to get through the wall.

What Ageek said was correct - the easiest way to do what you need to do is to take the hard drive out and connect it to another computer. Then, from that computer you can copy whatever you need to a floppy, CD, etc.
