400 Fsb
First I Previously enabled the Extra 256k Cache and 166 FSB on My 2400+ Thorton and am no the proud owner of a 3000 Barton.
can i do another mod to any of the bridges to turn it into a 3200+ 400FSB.
reason im asking is i got some Decent ram 2 x 256 sticks of PC3200 and the ABIT rekons i can only have 400 FSB ram if my CPU is running @ 400FSB as well.
I swear thats not the case , as this board supports A/Sync , I have a DRAM Clock Drive Control option in the Bios But its grey`d out.
also is threre any point in running DDR400 if my my board is CPU Fsb limited to 333.
should I just run the ram @ 333 with ultra low timings .?
Hope you guys can shed some light.

AT7MAX2 is KT400 chipset, it supports 333FSB CPU and 400FSB memory maximum.
To use 400memory the CPU speed must be 266.This is due to the chipset
limitation, as it can not provide the correct divider for the clock
frequency.
The board(chipset)does not support 400FSb CPUs.
lol, 400 memory only works with 266 cpu`s , whats the point.. i gotta get a NF7 or somting..
