Is this a good OC? (video card)

I can manage to get my Radeon 9700 Pro (built by ATi) to 340/324 from the stock speed of 324/310. I can't go much higher than that without mad artifacting. I saw somewhere someone had a pretty kool idea of strappin' a 80mm fan up to the stock heatsink, and I happen to have one lying around. I'll prolly do that in a while. (yeah i'm pretty broke right now) Will the extra air get me much farther? Maybe a set of little sinks for the ram would help? Is that a good overclock? I've recently seen some insane sh*t of over 500 MHz for both core and mem, but thats with voltage mods, and I don't wanna go there.

Pretty decent. About what I get.

I assume your 9700 Pro is pretty old? Mine is.

i would think thats pretty decent. ramsinks ought to help the memory oc (mine sucks just about as much as yours does at OC'ing), and i can't see how that fan would hurt either part of the oc. but i wouldn't expect it to make that big a difference

Lol i dunno I got it offa eBay. Prolly a bad choice. I ended up returning the first one to the guy, who happened to be some part of some kinda business, so I got a better one. The first one was just f*cked up.
