Help restoring backup image to RAID-0 Array

edited April 2004 in Hardware
System Specs-
MSI K8T NEO
AMD 64 3200+
RAID-0 running on Promise Controller (2 x 120GB SATA Seagate Drives)
160GB IDE Seagate (for image backups)
1GB Infineon RAM

My RAID-0 Array crashed yesterday. Luckily I make regular mirror image backups of the array onto another IDE drive via Drive Image 7.
However, unfortunately I am having problems trying to restore this image back to the array. Here are the steps I took:

1) Went into the Promise Controller's Fastrack BIOS and deleted the array that crashed along with the MBR.
2) Setup a new array with the same stripe/cluster size as before.
3) Rebooted, set CD-Rom as 1st boot device and then proceeded to load into PowerQuest's Drive Image 7 PQRE Environment off the CD.
4) Pressed F6 and loaded the Promise Fasttrack 378 drivers off the floppy disk.
4) Via the PQRE environment I then browsed to the mirror image backup stored on the IDE drive and selected it to be restored to the RAID array.
5) After restoring the image and rebooting to the RAID array I get the following error message:
"Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem. Could not read from the selected disk. Check boot
path and disk hardware. Please check the Windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your hardware reference manual
for additional information."

I tried 'bootcfg /rebuild' and 'fixmbr' via the recovery console on the XP cd and neither did the trick. I am unsure how to proceed from here.
After loading the Promise drivers at the F6 prompt, the PQRE environment didn't seem to have any problems recognizing the array and
it was viewed as a single 240GB partition...
Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this problem and how to fix it?
