Newegg has them if you want to try it out. Personally, I would rather stick with Northwood myself, since I know Northwood procs won't fry components on my mobo and the 2.4c has hyperthreading, which the Presshott 2.4a doesn't.

To me that CPU is not interesting. Who wants it? The Prescott CPU's are still a lot slower than the NW's. And then only 2.4GHz? I don't understand why it's made. It's foolish *G*

Yup, I too would stick with my Northwood. It's a bit faster, and Prescott still doesn't support Hyperthreading.

i just found it interesting that they overclocked it to 3.3Ghz with stock cooling.

except it doesn't have hyperthreading, so why not get a 2.4c northwood and ALSO overclock it to 3.3 with stock cooling

A Northwood-C @ 3.3GHz is ALOT faster than this @ 3.3 AND it has HT. The difference in FSB is also worth looking at. 275MHz vs. 137.5MHz!
