Sig. update

Is it just my sig. that is not updating, or are others not, also. According to EOC., I'm more than 1000 pts ahead of what my sig. says. Has something changed, where I have to update it?
Thanks;
Dragstk

    Stanford changed the stats servers and General Keebler is recoding it. No ones sig is updating right now. It will be a little bit before the overworked Keebler can finish it.

    One thing you can do is what I am doing-- when I have time to post here, I also look on folding's stats server directly. Then I manually update the table in my signature, simply change the digits as needed. Self done stats in sig is one way to go-- if one is careful to get what stanford has at time of sig chenge. Stanford's website is working fine for stats now, you can go there if you want your stats to flow some at odd intervals, but be right.

    Thanks for working on the sig code, General. When Sigs are back up, will go back to site sigs. :D

    I've been trying to think up a bandaid to grab the stats once just for a quick update at least once a day, but it's so darn complicated with what Stanford did it's just as easy to redo the whole thing like I'd been meaning to anyway. I'm coding the new system to temporarily work with the current sigs until I have time to implement the rest of my plans. I'm a bit ill just now and I have two other projects for the site to finish this weekend in addition to the coding and my school work so it may be a bit 'til I get it all done. Thanks for your patience.

    what is so complicated? They just changed them from one server name to another... it's the same URLs and everything...

    folding.stanford.edu -> vspx27.stanford.edu

    If there is anything I can do to help out, let me know.

    The problem is we were not using the text stats as we should've been - we used the dynamic team page instead. Our system never got updated after they made this request, and since we only pulled stats for our team it was never an issue. With this upgrade their dynamic stats are done in a very different manner and so now I must recode the system to work with the text files.

    Since the timestamps and parsing were half the code anyway, I've decided to upgrade the system to using a database while I'm at it to track long term stats and prepare for the larger project I have in mind for our team.
